Tips for Living Beautifully…


Have a quiet time every morning. Reflect on the most important things in life and get excited about the opportunities of a new day.

Divide every paycheck. Save some, give some, spend some.

Say “I love you” often.

Lift heavier weights. Especially all you women out there!

Make exercising fun! Racquetball, swimming…dance parties?!?

Go to bed by 11:30 pm and wake up by 8:30 am. Sleep is often the cure for many problems.

Don’t put yourself through one of those restrictive diet programs. They make you miserable and don’t work.

Exercise every day you eat sweets (yeah…that’s every day for me…)



Eat the foods you love that make you feel great.

Variety is essential. This applies to EVERYTHING. Be it your diet, your workout program, or just life in general. Variety will make you happy and healthy.

Eat every 2-3 hours. This doesn’t mean have a buffet 3 times in one morning though…eating little meals/snacks often keeps your metabolism and energy up, so you can get more done and look great!

Always have a snack with you. I get super cranky when I’m hungry…

Volunteer. You don’t need to wait for someone to ask you to either.

Be spontaneous. If you’re a type A person like me this one can freak you out. But every so often it’s invigorating to do something out of the ordinary.

Enjoy nature. Trust me, it’s a lot more fulfilling than going shopping or watching TV…


Write a letter…and send it! Who doesn’t like getting a hand written note?

Smile a lot (it makes people wonder what you’re up to…).

Make dinner for someone special. 

Make music, or appreciate people making music. It expresses what we can’t by words alone.


Learn a new hobby. You may surprise yourself and end up writing a blog about it!

Try a new restaurant and a new dish. Being adventurous is often very rewarding.

Thank your parents. They do a lot more than we give them credit for.

Make a fool of yourself (ie. Sing karaoke or go dancing…)

Take a break and soak up some sun for a few minutes. It’s amazing what a little vitamin D can do to improve your mood.

Follow your heart. First find a job that you’re passionate about before looking at the salary.

Drink lots of water. Staying hydrated lifts your mood and is so good for your body!


Give out random compliments. Especially to strangers!
